Remediation Case Studies / Camberwell – Former Depot and Fuel Station

As part of a social housing project in Camberwell, Cognition Land and Water undertook remediation of a former filling station, providing the client with a complete solution including liaison with both the Environment Agency and the local authority. The project involved the de-gassing and removal of 16 fuel tanks and excavation, treatment and disposal of hydrocarbon contaminated soils. Through careful segregation and screening, we were able to reuse large quantities of materials on site to provide an environmental ‘saving’.
